Sky Expanded it’s Empire
Sky Television, Sky Talk and Sky Broadband are very well known services from Sky but Sky is providing some more interesting and quality services for its patrons. It may possible some of their names are still new for Sky customers such as The Sky Player, Sky Songs, and Sky Bingo.
Sky entered in Digital TV market as a television broadcaster and builds a reputation as providing long range public Sky TV packages and channels. Sky always takes care of its customer by providing choice to pay only for the channels of their choice. Soon Sky came up with new High Definition technology, more clarity and quality TV experience for its clients. Now HD is available to more and more customers with great variety of channels.
In October 2010, Sky has expanded its services and come up with new 3D TV which began broadcasting earlier this year on a trial basis.

The Sky Player is Sky’s online TV service where you can watch thirty channels live as they broadcast. There are also hundreds of films, sports broadcasts and entertainment programmes available on demand for you to watch at your convenience, any time it suits you.
Registering for the Sky Player is a quick and easy process and then the content can be accessed via your computer. It is also Mac compatible and has recently become available on the Xbox 360 games console if you have an internet connection.
You can even become a fan of the Sky Player on social networking site Facebook to be included in exclusive news releases, competitions and polls.
Sky Songs could be compared to music providers such as Spotify and iTunes. Sky Songs is an online audio streaming facility where you can listen to unlimited streaming of over 5 million songs, and counting.
You can also purchase songs from the Sky Songs store, with tracks going for as little as 65p. You can sort the music on the site by artist or genre, and even view and listen to ready-made play lists as well as creating your own individual playlist.
Sky Bingo is Sky’s online bingo site, where you can play a variety of different bingo games by becoming a member and depositing into your online account. You deposit cash to earn credit on the site, with which you can buy bingo tickets and play for some impressive jackpot prizes. One winner quoted on the Sky Bingo site is user Selina W who won £58,000. Sky Bingo also has sister sites Sky Bet, Sky Vegas and Sky Poker, which are a sports betting site, online casino and online poker provider respectively.
